China Weichai diesel engine thermal efficiency of 53%

Compared with the 45% -46% thermal efficiency level, the 53% thermal efficiency diesel engine is about 14% more economical, and can save about 31 million tons of fuel oil and 97 million tons of carbon emission every year. Based on the 250,000 km a year run of heavy-duty tractors, it can save about 12,000 liters of diesel each year. The current market price of diesel is 7.8 yuan per litre, which can save about 98,000 yuan a year for vehicle owners
